Making Payment and Leaving Reviews

In this tutorial, we'll walk you through the process of making payments, best practices, and how to leave reviews.

At Lineup, we offer two different payment options for artists:

  1. Flat Rate

  2. Guarantee + Door/Bar Sales

Flat Rate Payments

When paying an artist a Flat Rate, you can complete the payment anytime after the time slot is confirmed. However, we recommend making payments after the event has taken place.

Steps to Pay:

  1. Go to the event page.

  2. Select "Pay Artist" and follow the payment prompt.

Note: If you have multiple payment methods (ACH or Debit/Credit Card), the first payment method added will be selected by default. You can update your preferred method before completing the payment.

Guarantee + Door/Bar Sales Payments

For Guarantee + Door/Bar Sales, payment is completed after the event to account for final door and bar sales. Once the event is over, you’ll receive a notification prompting you to complete payment.

Steps to Pay:

  1. Go to your Event Page. you can do this one of the following ways:

    • Selecting the event from your Payment History tab

    • Clicking on the Payment Notification

    • Using the mini calendar on your dashboard

    • Navigating through your Calendar page

  2. Select the time slot you need to complete payment for.

  3. Follow the prompt to finalize the payment.

  4. Repeat the process for any additional time slots.

After completing payment for a time slot, you’ll have the option to leave a review for the booking. Reviews help the Lineup algorithm recommend artists for future bookings and also support artists and venues in setting standards within the scene.
